Mission

A dormitory is a close-knit community where many friendships are formed; these friendships will often last for many years and into adulthood. Parents of the students who live in the dormitory rely on the dormitory staff to guide and support their sons and daughters through this period.

Horizon dormitory is aimed to provide a safe, happy and harmonious home-away-from-home where students can develop both academically and personally. When a student registers to enter into our dormitory, that student agrees to become part of the community and to be active in helping to achieve a trusting atmosphere in which all members of the community can thrive. To be able to accomplish this, students must show consideration for the welfare of other boarders and for the adults and their families who also live in the dormitory community. This experience of living in such a community may provide to be one of the most important lessons that a young person learns in his/her life.

Facilities

Doing our utmost so to enrich, care for and protect your children, Horizon dormitories provide facilities that are safe, happy and harmonious—a home- away-from- home for students.

Here is what HIBS dormitory facilities offer you:

1. Comfortable rooms: Horizon dormitory rooms are equipped with an air-conditioner in each room as well as comfortable bathrooms that always have hot water at any time of the day.
2. Experienced and Committed Teachers and Supervisors : Our well maintained dormitory environment is supervised by a foreign teacher who is an expert at consulting with adults, as well as four supervisors who assist and are competent in Vietnamese, which makes communication seamless between students, teachers and supervisors.
3. A Common Room: Equipped with a cable TV, a nicely arranged Common Room warmly awaits students so they can relax and watch movies.
4. The Yard: HIBS dormitories provide a nice sized garden with a camellia is designed for students to have a pleasant time chatting with each other while enjoying tasty beverages.
5. A Swimming pool: To make dormitory life even more enjoyable, Horizon dormitory provides students with a regularly maintained swimming pool.
6. A Generator: In case of power outs, Horizon dormitory is equipped with a generator.
7. Laundry: Equipped with three washing machines and a dryer, the laundry facility in the dormitory is ready to serve Horizon residents.

Aimed to provide Horizon students with a safe and comfortable place to live, Horizon dormitories organize various activities to give students the opportunity to feel more relaxed.
