I think this is my best year in HIBS, because this year my class had so many amusing, interesting and educational activities both indoor and outdoor. Our class has a really wonderful homeroom teacher with perfect supervisors. Actually before the term break, our class teacher, Mr.Ramazan suggested us a class trip to somewhere. After long discussions we decided to go to Ho Chi Minh City where Mr.Ramazan used to work there and he still has many friends and students there.
Right after finishing our final exams on 23rd December, 13 students from my class, Mr.Ramazan and his family, Abi and Abla and our Math teacher Ms. Linh gathered at the school and left Hanoi for Ho Chi Minh City. We arrived there Midnight due to delay of our flight. Next morning, we had breakfast at the HIBS An Phu campus and headed to the Suoi Tien Park. We had a great time there by playing many interesting, entertaining and amusing games from the Roller coaster to the Lazer Zone. It was a bit hot and tiring but still enjoy it lot by having some cold drinks and playing exciting games. We returned back to An Phu Campus and had our dinner early because we had both a birthday celebration and a football match that evening. It was Ha Linh’s birthday and we celebrated it right after the dinner because we need to hurry for the football match between my class and 8 graders from HIBS An Phu.
On the next day we had breakfast earlier and left the school for Dai Nam. It is a really world of entertainment for everyone at any age. We all were sleepy and it was like a blink of an eye to arrive there! We decided to hire bicycles with two seats till leaving there. It was really fun and took lots of energy. We rode any corner of Dai Nam with our bicycles beside chased by a traffic security controlling the safety inside Dai Nam. We could get over the security and it was the best part of riding bicycles! Late afternoon we start playing daring games which many of us couldn’t dare to go except Nhat Anh! The best parts of games were Snow House which we almost frozen and had lots of fun, then comes the Boat which goes up then free-fall and everybody is wet and scared!. The last but not least was a F1 Race game which we all loved playing and challenge each other to race. Everything was so perfect and amusing that we hardly could leave about 5pm. We all simply exhausted! That evening we played some funny games all together at the school yard and it was really fun. It was the best day of our trip so far!
On the 3rd day of our trip, we joined a special tour to My Tho and Ben Tre with Mr. Ramazan’s old students (now 8Graders in HIBS An Phu) and their parents; Mr.Tri,Ms.Chi,Mr.Thuan,Ms.Trinh. The tour was excellent and just organized for us. We stopped for breakfast at a very beautiful resort and rested there for a while. Later, we got on a boat and travelled in the famous Mekong River. It was really interesting and we can feel the breeze. We stopped in an island (Thoi Son) and rested at three different authentic places where they play traditional music, produce original honey and a fish farm. In the fish farm, we were given a costume and we could catch our own fish in a pond. It was muddy but very interesting activity for all of us. Ms. Linh caught many fish and ate them later for the lunch! The lunch was really fancy and assorted. After the lunch we took some traditional kayaks to head to our boat. On the way to the there we stopped at an interesting place that they produce products like candies, soaps and some other things from coconuts. It was very amusing and we never imagined such thing before. Returning back to school late evening, we had dinner with some other parents and students who came to meet Mr. Ramazan. We left school with abi for catching a movie at that night. It was fun but little late and tiring after such a long tour trip. It was a really long ,tiring but interesting and amusing day!
On the last day of the trip, we had breakfast late morning and visited HIBS City Campus. After that we went shopping till late afternoon. Then we said Good Bye to Ho Chi Minh City!
I would like to sincerely thank the school for providing us everything we need there and my class teacher, Azad abi and Funda abla for their care and help.9A HCMC Trip
